The Roanoke Valley Mineral and Gem Society Annual Gem and Mineral Show! Thanksgiving Weekend Friday-Sunday!

The Roanoke Valley Mineral and Gem Society hosts their annual Gem and Mineral Show featuring a large selection of fossils and minerals from around the world as well as both custom and unique jewelry. This event provides shoppers with a wide selection of gifts for all ages, education, and mineral identification in a large shopping area with room for safe holiday shopping.

Geode Cutting - The Roanoke Valley Mineral and Gem society has been host to our annual show for 42 years! This is our main fundraiser to support the club’s mineral education, mineral collecting, and college scholarship opportunities. Be sure to stop by the Club’s Geode Cutting booth to have the opportunity to have a Geode cut or cracked open and be the first to see what nature created inside.

When and Where: 
Friday, Nov. 28 : 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Saturday, Nov. 29 : 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday, Nov. 30 : 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Admission: Adults $5.00 good for all 3 days! Ages 14 and under FREE with paying Adult. Tickets are sold at the door.

*The RVMGS will also be collecting canned goods for the Salem Food Bank.
